Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Clerical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices and clerical duties to support our office operations effectively. This position will act as an assistant to accounting functions of the company and will provide exceptional customer service to our employees and internal team.


What you will be doing: - Assist with general clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management- Will be cross trained in bookkeeping and act as backup for payroll- Collect and enter company timecards- Invoice data entry (AP/subcontractor)- Assist with Company AR tasks- Coordinates B2G/LCP tracker. Submit weekly payroll reports on all Certified Jobs- Obtain W-9 forms from Vendors new to O’Neill Construction Group.


What is required for this position:- High school education or equivalent- Ability to work independently- 1 year data entry and Microsoft Office Suite experience required- Strong clerical skills including filing, data entry, and document organization- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written required)- Understanding of debits and credits in accounting- Possess strong computer and data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Excel.


What is preferred for this position: - Construction experience preferred- Viewpoint Software experience preferred- Smartsheet experience is strongly preferred.
